Foundation For Love
When I accept you the way you are and you accept me as I am, together we are creating a solid foundation for a love that will last beyond our present lifetime. Many differences arise between people because we fail to accept each other, the way we are. Each has their own opinions, ideas and images of how people should be, especially those we are interested in and care about. We want them to succeed more and be more. The more we love them, the more we may feel we have a right to change them.
In truth, we have no rights at all where other people are concerned. We have been placed in this life so that we should learn to love totally and unconditionally those who share it with us for a while. That is the way our Creator loves us. S/He alone knows what is best each one of us in any given situation. The Universe constantly guides us from within our own heart and when we learn to pay attention to and follow its advice, it inspires us to conduct our lives in the truly intended manner, namely fulfilled and upon a firm foundation of love. The Universal life force gives us the freedom to make our own choices. All we have to do is loving and choosing wisely.
God willingly accepts each one us, whether we are rich or poor, especially in spirit, makes no difference. Those who have become spiritually impoverished, when the time is right for them to do so, they too are going to be led to where the pastures are greener and the waters of consciousness run ever clearer, so that they too may once again grow rich, on all levels of experience.
Can you love me the way I am? Can I love you as you are? If so, then we have found a solid foundation for a love that can never be taken from us.
