The Joy Of Being Yourself
To truly be myself and you yourself,
It is essential that I do my thing
And you do yours.
We are not in this world
To imitate each other or live up
To someone else’s expectations.
You are you and I am I.
If, whenever we meet,
We can love and accept each other,
Just the way we are,
We truly are friends and that is beautiful.
