Springtime Prayer
We thank thee,
O Great Father/Mother of all life and
Your only born Son/Daughter,
The Universal Christ, for:
Flowers blooming profusely at our feet,
Tender grass, so fresh and sweet,
The song of birds and humming of bees,
For all things bright and beautiful
We hear and see.
We add thanks and praise to this for:
The blue of streams and sky,
The pleasant shade of branches high,
The fragrant air and cooling breeze,
For the beauty of blossoming trees,
The love and warmth of the Great Light,
Who is the Sun behind and beyond the
Sun in the sky above our world,
Who every year brings about the renewal
Of all manifestations of its natural kingdoms.
